Linguine is often served with pesto or seafood recipes such as prawn linguine or crab linguine.
This is a fantastic and easy clam pasta sauce using tinned clams. All you need is a little bread and salad for a complete meal.
Pasta should always be simple and this is a great example. White wine, butter and garlic are used to cook fresh prawns, and then are served over pasta.
Quick and easy to make, this is a hit for a dinner party or just a quick family dinner. I also occasionally substitute chicken for the prawns for another great flavoured dish!
This is my favourite throw-together-in-a-few-minutes vegetarian pasta. The sauce is ready by the time the pasta has cooked. You can use any long pasta for this dish which - although it has cream in it - is not thick or heavy. Serve with grated parmesan and add smoked salmon to the individual bowls just before serving for an Omega 3 (but not veggo) hit. Everyone who eats this, leaves the house with the recipe.
Sautéed asparagus, pancetta and rocket tossed in pasta with rocket and lemon juice make a simple flavourful dinner with minimal cooking. I often use spaghetti for this and you can substitute any pasta. Serve with grated parmesan if liked.
