Vegan Apple Pie Smoothie
This is my vegan, gluten-free “apple pie in a glass”. I don’t really know how to do this smoothie justice, except to say that it is absolutely scrumdidiliumptious! ! This smoothie satisfies the need for a slice of apple pie, without having to bake.
Apple and Cranberry Smoothie
This smoothie takes a bit more effort than most because you want to juice apples yourself to use. Alternatively you could use shop bought apple juice but I think that in this smoothie, juicing your own adds to the flavor.
Apple and Sultana Cupcakes
Moist and yummy these are a nice change from the normal cupcake. The apple and sultanas go well together. Add a dash of cinnamon if you like. Lovely hot out of the oven with a bit of butter or cool with a cup of tea. Or great in kids lunch boxes.
Apple Date Muffins
A satisfying and fruity muffin. The diced apple is awkward to mix up and you really need to bake until well done.
Easy Apple Muffins
Easy and tasty apple muffins. Great hot with some butter on them or cold and in kids lunches. They will love helping to make them and they don't last long around my family.
Apple and Banana Pastry Squares
These fruit pastries are a quick dessert or nice for a sweet fix on those cold nights. The banana forms a sticky sauce base with the apple giving you something more substantial to snack on. Topped off with the spices its a real treat. I formed this recipe while looking to use up some fruit that I had sitting around.
Quick Apple Cake
Use up unwanted/imperfect apples ( if you have fussy kids like me!) in this healthy low fat recipe. I have found this cake very useful for "bring a plate" or as dessert. Everybody asks for the recipe because it is so yummy, especially when still a little warm from the oven and crispy on the outside.
