Upside down cake is an Aussie classic; this recipe uses fresh pineapple and pineapple juice to make the cake batter for an all round great pineapple cake.
Pineapple upside down cakes are a bit retro but still a lot of fun and a family favourite. With not much work you get great presentation.
A caramel pear cake, delicious served warm with cream, or ice-cream.
This deliciously light and moist cake is both gluten-free and dairy-free so it's great if you've got intolerant eaters with a sweet tooth. It's my own recipe that comes from a cross between traditional orange and almond cake and apple upside down cake. It's not the prettiest cake around but it is the perfect accompaniment to morning or afternoon tea... ENJOY!
This is an unusual cake where sliced of mango are topped with cake, baked and then flipped over. To finish it is caramelised under the grill.
