This rich egg bread dough is easy to prepare in a bread machine, but the traditional braided look is still preserved when it is baked in the oven.

A gorgeously creamy leek soup with a sharp cheese and mustard kick. It makes a delicious lunch served with cheese and onion bread or walnut bread. Plus, it's vegetarian too!

This recipe is the next best thing to a bakery babka! Although babkas are traditionally yeast-risen breads, this one is more similar to a sweet quick bread or cake.

Haroset is a traditional Jewish Passover dish. This haroset recipe is more of a sweet, and very different from the typical apple based variety. It can be stored in the refrigerator for one week in an air-tight container.

Sweet and tasty Haroset is made with apples, cinnamon, honey and sweet wine. It is traditionally served at Passover and there are as many recipes for Haroset as there are Jewish families. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Adults love this one, too! It's perfect for the 4th or 5th day of Passover when you start running out of creative cooking steam! You can add any vegetables you like or have on hand.

Treat yourself to roast lamb! A small leg serves six, plus it's extra lean and surprisingly low in fat. Lamb deserves the crowning jewel of a fresh mint sauce that can be prepared in minutes, yet tastes as if it took a lot of effort.

Crisp macaroons garnished with almonds make tempting nutty nibbles. These are made with cornflour, so they're gluten-free.

Delicious Passover specialty that's easy and can be served with either meat or dairy dinners! Can also be made ahead and cooked later.

Ground almonds take the place of flour in this cake. Whole oranges and yoghurt give it a tangy flavour.

My mother, Faye Grant, has been making this apple cake for her Seders for years. It's the best apple cake you'll ever taste!

Garnish with a sprinkle of sugar and some strawberries! The centre will be a little fudgy tasting! There are never any leftovers to worry about.
