Indian food is one of my favourites, so when my friend made this slow cooker version for my family we were head over heels! I don't think I've had a Butter Chicken that I've liked more. It's wonderful to put into the slow cooker in the morning and come home to the warm Indian spice smell....LOVE IT! Serve with basmati rice and warm naan bread.
This is a very easy and no fail recipe for American-style meatloaf. It won't take long to make at all and it's quite good!
Dad has always been the master of this recipe which has been handed down from his parents. He makes it every week for a snack. It's beautiful cold and fills the house with that lovely smell of cloves. Once the meat is cold, the slices are just so tender, its awesome. You can make it with a white mustard sauce too if you are having it for dinner.
Easy to make moist banana cake that has been highly sought after, time after time. For an even richer treat, ice your cake with cream cheese icing.
Tasty, fluffy corn fritters made with creamed corn. A nutritious and warming winter lunch.
My version of the Italina classic... mascarpone custard layered with whipped cream and rum and coffee soaked sponge finger or savoiardi plain Italian biscuits.
Don't be intimidated by the amount of wasabi in this recipe; it is cooked which mellows out the flavour. This is as good as anything you will get in a restaurant.
This is a handy mix that can be made ahead of time. Just add to a glass of vodka and ice, and garnish with celery sticks and slices of lemon. It can also be drunk without alcohol as a Virgin Mary. Try at your next brunch or party.
