Ingredients
Serves : 16
- 2 avocados
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons finely diced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Directions
Preparation:5min › Ready in:5min
- Cut the avocados into halves. Remove the stones and scoop out the pulp into a small bowl. Use a fork to mash the avocado.
- Stir in lemon juice, onion, salt and olive oil. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving.
Note:
Avocados have lots of protein, beta carotene and vitamin E. They are also high in monounsaturated fat - a 'good' fat! Combined with the olive oil in this dip, which is about 75% monounsaturated fat, it's clear that you'll definitely benefit from a lot of dipping.

Used different ingredients. I thought this recipe was great, I just added a little garlic and tomato and it was the best guacamole I ever tried. - 08 Oct 2008

Very nice and simple to make, I also added extra garlic and tomato. I made it for a party and it went down a treat. - 18 Oct 2009
