Chops in Soup

    My mum used to make this for our family alot when we were growing up. It's so yummy and really easy to make and is great with mashed potato.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4-6 Lamb Chops
    • 1 Pkt Maggi Thick Vegetable Soup
    • 1 Pkt Maggi Cream of Vegetable Soup
    • Water

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:45min  ›  Ready in:55min 

    1. Pre heat oven to 180 Degrees Celcius.
    2. Place chops in casserole dish (not overlapping.)
    3. Add water until just covering the whole of the chops. Sprinkle both packets of soup evenly over the casserole.
    4. Place in oven for about 45 mins.
    5. About half way through, take casserole out and stir the sauce, then put back into oven for remainder of time.

    was ok, probably cause the chops i used were not really the best, hubby bought them from different butcher, stick to who you know, yea, will try again with betta chops, thanks anyway,  -  15 Oct 2012
