    Simple alternative for plain boiled carrots.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 4 carrots
    • 1 tbs honey
    • 1/4 cup salted cashews

    Directions
    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Bring a saucepan of water to boil. Peel and cut carrots into rounds.
    2. Add to boiling water and cook till tender (approx 10 mins). While carrots are cooking chop nuts coarsely. Drain carrots and return to saucepan, add honey and mix gently till all carrots are coated. Transfer carrots to plate and sprinkle with nuts. Substitute cashews for your favourite nuts!
