Easy Creamy Tortellini
Recipe by:
Linda
This is my hearty "bowl of comfort" to eat while curled up in front of TV on a winter's evening....and it's so easy to throw together! You could even add mushrooms, eschallots or even spinach for a variation.

500 grams beef tortellini

1.
Boil the tortellini in plenty of salted water according to packet directions and drain.
2.
While the pasta is on the boil, fry the bacon in a small saucepan, add the peas and cream and simmer for about 5 minutes until the peas are cooked through.
3.
Return the drained tortellini to the stove in it's saucepan and add the cream sauce. Stir through the parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
4.
Serve with an extra sprinkle of parmesan cheese.

I am not a very experienced cook so this was very easy to make and fast. I added a few fresh mushrooms too. I'll definitely make this one again. Yum!
