    We always have loads of sausages left after a weekend bbq, and this is a great way of 'wow'-ing them up into something exciting.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 1 pack pasta (penne, swirls...whatever)
    • 250g mushrooms
    • 3-5 cooked BBQ sausages
    • 1 medium onion
    • 500ml prepared bechamel (white sauce)
    • 100ml full cream milk
    • grated cheese for top

    Directions
    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:35min 

    1. Cook the pasta in salted water. Chop mushrooms, bbq sausages and onion, fry in a little bit of olive oil. Add the bechamel sauce and extra milk, and stir through. Stir sauce mixture into cooked pasta. Place in oven dish, top with cheese. Set oven to 180 degrees. Bake for 20 - 30 minutes, until cheese is melted and browning.

    I made this with normal sausages but it was still tasty. I added a tiny bit of nutmeg and I think you could tweak it a little bit more to make it even tastier.  -  22 Jan 2010  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
