Butterscotch and popcorn are made for each other in this delicious recipe. It's kind of like caramel corn and it's excellent party food. Kids love it. Very easy.
125g popping corn
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons honey
3/4 cup (185g) white sugar
- In a large saucepan heat oil then add the popping corn. Shake pan continually over the heat until popping ceases.
- Placed popped corn into a large mixing bowl.
- In a saucepan combine honey, sugar and butter, slowly bring to the boil, boil for 5 minutes. Pour butterscotch over the popped corn and mix together well. Allow to cool and then pig out.
Yum! And very popular at the birthday party I took it to.
