Toasted Ham and Cheese Triangles

You'll love these toasted ham and cheese sangers easily made in a sandwich press. If you don't have a sandwich maker you can always fry them in a frypan or even use the old jaffle iron.

Serves: 2

  • 4 slices multi-grain bread
  • margarine for spreading
  • 8 slices thin ham
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:3min  ›  Ready in:13min

  1. Make your sandwiches "inside out" by buttering the outside of the sandwich rather than the insides.
  2. Assemble by placing 2 slices of ham on two of the slices, followed by cheese in the middle then 2 slices of ham on top.
  3. Place the other slices on top, remembering to keep the buttered side out.
  4. Place into sandwich press and cook till golden.
  5. Cut into 8 triangles and serve.
