I chucked unsalted peanuts into my bullet. Couple of scrapes and stirs. And yumny we have a delicious peanut butter. I know whats in it, and so cost effective. - 18 Feb 2015

I had some unsalted roasted peanuts I had on hand so I used them. I didn't add oil and am glad I didn't. I recommend trying peanuts on their own before adding the oil. My peanuts gave off enough oil on their own that the addition would have made it too oily. This was very easy to make in my Vitamix. I added the nuts to the container and selected variable 1. I then slowly increase to variable 10 then switched to high. I had to use the tamper that comes with the Vitamix to push the peanuts into the blades. It took around a minute to make a smooth peanut butter. - 30 May 2013
