    1. Mix all ingredients - excluding chicken and onion - in a bowl, then cut chicken into thin strips and add to the mixture. Mix the chicken thoroughly with the marinade, and leave in fridge over night.
    2. When you're ready to eat, cook the pasta in lots of boiling salted water according to packet directions.
    3. Melt butter in a fry pan, add the onions and cook until transparent. Add the chicken strips and cook until well browned and the juices are clear.
    4. When the pasta is cooked, drain and mix through a little butter and salt and pepper to season. Serve chicken over pasta.

Really really yummy marinade. I didn't have it with spaghetti but with salad and veges. Cooked the chicken strips on kebabs.  -  05 Mar 2011

I thought it was great, my husband too. I added the broth and a little flour so it was a sauce. I love it thank you for sharing :D  -  10 Jun 2009  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

I agree with Emily that adding some broth to make it more of a sauce is the way to go. My wife loved it and said we could definitely add this into the regular rotation -- which is fine with me as it's pretty simple to prepare. Very good dish!  -  16 Jan 2011  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
