    A rich tomato sauce and homemade pasta recipe. These two go really well together and they are easy to make too!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • Pasta Dough
    • 2 cups (250g) plain flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 2 eggs
    • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • a little water
    • Pasta Sauce
    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 1 large onion, sliced
    • 1/2 garlic clove
    • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
    • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
    • 1 (400g) tin diced tomato
    • 1 tablespoon parsley, diced
    • 1 cup (250ml) water

    Directions
    Preparation:1hour  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:1hour30min 

    1. Pasta Dough: Mix all the ingredients together.
    2. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes then roll out flat.
    3. Cut the dough into thin strips.
    4. Let the strips dry.
    5. Cook the noodles for 15 minutes.
    6. Serve with the tomato sauce.
    7. Pasta Sauce: Heat oil in a saucepan then add onion, garlic and oregano. Fry until transparent.
    8. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
    9. Serve over pasta.
