This is a nice pasta dish that is quick and easy to make. It was a favourite when I was at uni and again now on busy week nights.
6-7 rashers of bacon, diced
1 onion, diced
1 packet pasta, any kind
1 (400g) tin peas, optional
2 tablespoons coriander
2 tablespoons oregano
salt and pepper, to taste
- Cook pasta as directed on back of packet. Drain and put aside.
- Brown the onion and the bacon.
- Once cooked add the peas, coriander, oregano, salt and pepper; stir.
- Add the pasta then mix through and serve with a fresh garden salad.
