Aunty Karen's Tea Cake

This recipe was given to me by my Aunt Karen when I was 12 for something easy to cook. Now I've perfected it and it is what I get asked to bring to any family occasion. I hope you enjoy it!

Altered ingredient amounts. Didn't use nuts and changed mixed spice for a combination of cinnamon and nutmeg. Still awesome.

Amazingly easy cake to make, cant believe it tasted so good! No egg, no fat....how it stuck together I dont know! Tastes a bit like a spicy bun, everyone loved it!

Absolutely love this recipe!! So easy to make, tasted delicious. I didn't use the walnuts and had not mixed spice so used a combination of cinnamon and nutmeg. Also made them as muffins, not a cake. Still delicious. Kids loved it, I loved it, so easy, egg AND dairy free! Definitely adding this to my recipe book! Thanks for sharing it.
