CMZ's caramel biscuits

    My kids love to help me make these extra-easy, ultra-yummy biscuits - and they love eating them! You can get pre-made caramel filling at most big supermarkets.

    Serves: 8 

    • 150g butter, softened
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 tin caramel filling
    • 1 3/4 cups (220g) self-raising flour

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease a large biscuit tray.
    2. Beat butter and sugar until creamy, then beat in caramel. Add flour and stir until combined.
    3. Roll mixture into small balls (the size of the ball depends on how big you want you biscuits) and place on the tray. Bake for approx. 10 mins or slightly more, depending on the size of your biscuits. They are ready when still slightly soft to touch.
