Recipe was great & I had all good comments about it & also people asking for the recipe. Next week I plan to use a chocolate cake mix instead of vanilla, replace the apples with sour cherries & add cocoa/drinking chocolate instead of cinnamon - 09 Jun 2010

looks tasty but I wanted a recipe that I can make from scratch- not having to go get a cake mixture packet! - 13 Mar 2015

Brilliant! Have also had people asking for another slice and/or the recipe. If you can resist eating same day we have found it improves by keeping in the 'fridge overnight. (Softens the base a little). Making another one for a BBQ this week-end. Yum! - 30 Apr 2014
