Banana and Sultana Parcels

    This recipe for banana and sultana spring rolls is easy and quick to make. They are great served with ice cream or whipped cream. You could even sprinkle a little cinnamon over the top when serving.

    Serves: 8 

    • 2 large bananas
    • handful of brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup sultanas
    • 6 spring roll sheets
    • vegetable oil for deep frying

    1. Cut the bananas into 3 pieces each. Separate 6 spring roll sheets then place a piece of banana diagonally across the corner and sprinkle with brown sugar and sultanas.
    2. Roll up like you would a normal spring roll, repeat until all the banana pieces have been wrapped.
    3. Deep fry until golden on the outside and serve hot or cold with ice cream or whipped cream.
