If you like liver you will love these easy canapes. Elegant and subtle, perfect for a dinner party. Even if you are not a liver fan, give them a try.


Serves: 24 

  • 12 fresh chicken livers, halved
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 slices bacon or prosciutto, cut in half

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Preheat grill.
  2. Sprinkle each chicken liver half with salt to taste. Wrap bacon or prosciutto around each piece and fasten with a toothpick. Place on a baking tray.
  3. Grill for 5 to 7 minutes, then turn pieces and grill another 5 to 7 minutes, or until cooked through.
