These little nibbles are perfect finger food for Christmas morning and very easy to make. You could also make them with peeled roasted chestnuts.


Serves: 12 

  • 450g streaky bacon
  • 1 (220g) tin whole water chestnuts

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Preheat your oven's grill.
  2. Slice bacon in half lengthwise; wrap one piece bacon around one chestnut. Skewer with toothpick to hold the bacon in place.
  3. Grilll in oven, turning frequently, until the bacon is evenly cooked. Serve warm.
