This chutney or relish is quick and easy as it uses cranberry sauce from a jar. It's a blend of spiced apple, cranberry, apricots and raisins and is delicious. It does taste better after it has chilled for at least 3 hours.
1 large apple - peeled, cored and diced
315g cranberry sauce
30g chopped dried apricots
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

In a medium saucepan, place apple, cranberry sauce, dried apricots, raisins, lemon juice, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes or until mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator 2 1/2 hours. Serve cold.
