1 1/4 cups chicken stock
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves

Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over moderate heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 5 minutes or until soft. Add the rice, stock, 1 1/4 cups water and the rosemary. Bring to the boil. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
