Prepared potato farls are pan fried in hot olive oil then seasoned with a pinch of salt. Serve with an Ulster fry or just top with a poached egg. My favourite.


Serves: 2 

  • 4 prepared potato bread farls
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation:2min  ›  Cook:6min  ›  Ready in:8min 

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Gently fry potato farls for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Season with salt and serve immediately.
