    2 hours 45 minutes

This lemon ice cream is creamy but light and refreshing and contains no cream and no eggs. A nice halfway between ice cream and sorbet.

We substituted oranges and oj instead, and used a bit less of the sweetened condensed milk, it turned out like a creamsicle!  -  04 Jul 2004  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

This is a quick and easy recipe to use with an ice cream maker. I prefer a less sweet flavor, so I increased the amount of lemon juice to 3 lemons, and reduced the milk.  -  08 Feb 2003  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

This is yummy! I was worried it would be too sweet as the other reviews said, but I found it perfect. This was my first attempt with my new Ice Cream Maker. It reminds me of a lemon cream dessert my gran used to make at xmas time.  -  31 Dec 2004  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
