Easiest ever microwave omelette
Be the first to make this!
I'm not a morning person so I hate to have to work hard before lunch but I love to have a good breakfast. So what I usually make is this easy omelette that anyone can do.
4 large eggs
3 tbsp (60ml) milk
1/3 cup (40g) grated cheese
3 tbsp (60g) butter
½ tbsp chives
salt and pepper to taste
1 sausage, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
2 small potatoes (cooked), finely chopped
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
1 small green capsicum, finely chopped
3 mushrooms, finely chopped
- Mix the eggs, milk, cheese, chives, salt and pepper in a bowl. Then add the butter and finely chopped sausage, onion, potato, tomato, pepper and mushrooms.
- Put mixture into a greased pie dish and cover with plastic wrap. Prick a hole in the plastic wrap.
- Cook on high 1½ mins, stir then cover. Cook on high 1¾ minutes and stir again.
- Then cook – uncovered – for 1 min and then serve.
