This is a super easy yoghurt cake and the best thing about it is you can change it up by using different flavours of yoghurt or adding nuts and chocolate chips, etc.

Yes, it is very easy to make, but it is weird - very sweet, but texture is neither cake nor bread. Reminded me of the greaseless sponges my mother used to make after the war (yes I am that old), when there was still rationing. Bit like the sponges used for trifles. OK on the day it was made, but lack of fat meant it didn't store well. I used a cherry yoghurt, full fat, and coudn't taste the cherry in the finished cake. Won't bother with any more.
