Breakfast Sausage Pizza

    Start the day with an easy breakfast pizza, replete with classic breakfast delights such as bacon, chicken sausage, capsicums, and salsa!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 10 

    • 6 eggs, or more to taste
    • 2 tablespoons water
    • 1/4 cup tomato salsa, or more to taste
    • 1 (500g) package prepared thin pizza crust
    • 1 cup chopped bacon
    • 2 cups shredded cheese blend
    • 6 chicken sausages, sliced
    • 1/2 red capsicum, cut into thin strips

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 230 degrees C.
    2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add eggs and about 2 tablespoons water; cook and stir until set but slightly moist, about 4 minutes.
    3. Spread salsa over pizza crust until just covered. Spread scrambled eggs evenly on top. Add bacon. Cover evenly with cheese blend. Scatter sausage and capsicum on top.
    4. Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, about 15 minutes.

    Cook's Note:

    The combinations are endless. Here are some topping suggestions: bacon, sausage, diced cooked potatoes, cooked corned beef hash, steak, fresh mozzarella, basil, chopped peeled zucchini or pumpkin or spinach.
