Basic Vegetables and Chicken Stir Fry

    This recipe includes many different vegetables, spices and flavours that make the dish become fabulous!This recipe Serves 5-6 people depending on the amount each person wants. When cooking the chicken and vegetables it is best to use tongs to stir rather than a wooden spoon. This is an easy recipe that can be cooked up in less the 20 mins and it is something you will enjoy!     • 650g Chicken cut into strips (1cm by 2cm)
    • 2 packets of Thin Hokkien Wokka noodles
    • 3 teaspoons of shallots
    • 1 small onion diced
    • 1 teaspoon ginger diced
    • 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
    • Sesame oil (for cooking)
    • 1 cup green beans chopped into small peices
    • 1 big capsicum copped into strips
    • 1 cup of broccoli broken into small pieces
    • 1 carrot grated
    • 3/4 cup of red cabbage sliced in small pieces
    • 3 tablespoons Char Sui Sauce


    1. Place Both packets of noodles in hot boiling water for 20mins or until separated and put aside
    2. Turn on the wok and set on a medium-high temperature and add sesame oil. Once the wok has heated up add the chicken strips, shallots, ginger and onion for 5-7 minutes stirring every 30 seconds until the chicken is white and dense. Take out of wok and put aside.
    3. Turn the wok down to a low-medium temperature and add more sesame oil until sizzling and then you can add the green beans, snow peas, broccoli and red cabbage until well cooked.
    4. Turn the wok up to a medium-high temperature and add the Capsicum and carrot to the rest of the vegetables in the wok.
    5. Once all of the vegetables have been fully cooked, you add the chicken back into to the wok and mix. Once the Chicken is blended in with the vegetables you can drain the noodles and add to the stir fry. Stir for 3-4 minutes before adding the Char Sui Sauce.
    6. Your fabulous dish is now complete! Enjoy :)
