Quick and Easy Lemonade with Chia Seeds

    A refreshing homemade lemonade with chia seeds added so you can chew with your sips.

    Serves: 1 

    • 355ml water
    • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 2 1/2 teaspoons sugar
    • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

    1. Stir water, lemon juice and sugar together in a glass until sugar has completely dissolved; add chia seeds. Let stand for about 10 minutes, or until a gel forms around the chia seeds; stir.

    This is like lemonade with chia seeds. I am looking for different pre run drinks and foods and this may be a new favorite. I need to go run and try it out. I will note I did not measure my lemon juice, just used fresh lemon juice .  -  05 Nov 2013  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
