BBQ Salmon in Foil Wrap

This is a simple yet delicate salmon dish that can easily be cooked on the BBQ in the back yard or right next to the river where you catch the fish.

Serves: 1 

  • 1 handfull green beans
  • 1 salmon fillet
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • Italian herb mix, to taste
  • 1 lemon sliced

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Lay out a long sheet of foil, then fold to create a pocket to hold the salmon that is double layered.
  2. Create a base with the green beans then place on top the salmon. Season with the salt, pepper and Italian herb mix. Place the lemon slices on top.
  3. Carefully close the foil packet to ensure it is fully sealed and no moisture can escape. Place the packet on a preheated BBQ. It will slowly inflate, when this happens, time for 6 minutes then remove.
  4. Let the packet rest so it deflates. If you open while inflated moisture escapes and you are exposed to burning your hands. Cut a cross in the foil to expose the meal.
  5. Serve in the foil, or transfer to a plate to eat.
