This is a wonderful ANZAC slice that makes a nice change to ANZAC biscuits, yet is still as easy to make.

Makes: 1 batch

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 125g butter
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees C.
  2. Mix oats, sifted flour, brown sugar and coconut in a bowl.
  3. Melt the butter and golden syrup together then add it to the bowl. Stir well.
  4. Flatten mixture out on a baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes.
