BBQ French Toast Sandwich
This is the perfect camping or weekend breakfast on the BBQ. The basic premise is a whole tomato and cheese sandwich, dipped in egg, then fried on the BBQ.

2 slices bread
1 slice cheese
2 slices tomato
salt and pepper, to taste
oil, as needed
- Make the sandwich with the two slices of bread, cheese, tomato, salt and pepper.
- In a shallow bowl mix the egg and milk. Dip the whole sandwich in it turning trying to get maximum coverage and use up all the egg.
- Fry each side of the sandwich on an oiled BBQ until golden brown. (Of course you could do this in a frypan also)
Once you have the idea nailed down, you can make any filling you want, ham, chicken, pesto or pretty much anything.
