A perfect meal for a cold winters night, and quite inexpensive. Don't be worried about the cut of meat being a neck, it works great in this recipe.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 onion
  • 4 carrots
  • 2 cups mushrooms
  • 1 capsicum
  • 8 small potatoes
  • 18 lamb necks
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • pinch rosemary
  • pinch oregano

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:6hours  ›  Ready in:6hours10min 

  1. Prepare the onion, carrots, mushrooms, capsicum and potatoes by cutting into similar sized pieces.
  2. Add the vegetables to the slow cooker with the lamb, stock, rosemary and oregano.
  3. Cook for 6 hours on low, stir occasionally.
  4. Serve with bread rolls or on a bed of mash.
