    This spaghetti carbonara recipe is such an easy and simple meal to cook when we are in a hurry during the week.

    Serves: 4 

    • 500g spaghetti
    • 250g gammon steaks, cut into small bits
    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 4 tablespoons milk
    • 100g grated cheddar cheese
    • salt and pepper, to taste

    1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling water for 10 minutes.
    2. While cooking, dice the gammon and heat in a large saucepan with the oil.
    3. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it then add it to the saucepan with the gammon.
    4. Take off the heat and stir in the eggs, milk, cheese, salt and pepper. Serve straightaway.
