You won't miss the flour in these chocolatey, fudgy, amazing brownies! Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream!


Makes: 16 brownies

  • 100g butter
  • 200g caster sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 50g chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon gluten free baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 70g ground almonds
  • 150g chocolate chips

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C. Line a 20cm square baking tin with baking paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs until a smooth consistency.
  3. Stir in the melted chocolate, baking powder, vanilla essence, cocoa powder, ground almonds and chocolate chips. Pour into the prepared baking tin.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until the centre is set, 25 to 30 minutes. Allow to cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
