I decided to make this recipe for my fiancee's mum. It is her favourite recipe. And this is the result. I even got a slice!


Serves: 8 

  • 70g butter
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 20g hot chocolate powder
  • 20g cocoa
  • 230g powdered milk
  • 150ml warm water
  • 1 medium sweet pastry case (or 2 small)

  1. In a bowl mix the butter with the caster sugar until smooth.
  2. On top of this cream add the hot chocolate powder and cocoa, then mix everything together.
  3. In a separate bowl mix the powdered milk and the water, then add the cocoa mixture.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture in the pastry case then refrigerate overnight. Cut the pie into slices to serve.
