Chinese Takeaway Curry Sauce

I wanted to make my own Chinese curry sauce to stop myself spending a fortune at my local takeaway. It turned out really well! I served it over grilled chicken breasts with rice and peas on the side. I bet it's good over oven chips!

Brilliant recipe, I didn't add the treacle or the cream but it tasted just like take away, will definitely be making it again.

This was amazing! I made this for my mum and I and we both loved it! My mum is very hard to please so that's really saying something lol! Better then a takeaway! I made it without treacle and creme and I had it with rice and chicken , I also made vegetable spring rolls for it too thanks so much for my new Friday night treat! X

Absolutely gorgeous, so much nicer than the Chinese and probably a lot healthier, even with the butter. I didn't leave it long enough to thicken properly, but was still yummy. Made some chicken fried rice to go with it delicious

Just made this, turned out great! I used medium curry powder and added a green pepper and left out the treacle. Was to die for! Definitely making this again! ๐Ÿ˜‹
