Baked Potato Wedges with Creamy Onion and Cheese

An easy and tasty way to cook potatoes. The recipes is made with Maggi onion soup mix, cream and cheese.

Serves: 6 

  • 6 -8 large washed potatoes
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 packet maggi onion soup
  • 1 1/2 cups grated tasty cheese
  • 300ml thickened cream

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:1hour  ›  Ready in:1hour10min 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. Cut the potatoes into wedges, leaving the skin on. Place oil in a bowl and toss wedges through. shake off excess and place 1/2 the wedges in a single layer on an oven tray.
  3. Sprinkle with 1/2 the packet of onion soup, half a cup of cheese and 1/2 the cream over the potatoes. Repeat with rest of potatoes, soup and cream.
  4. Cover with foil and cook for about 1 hour or until potatoes are cooked through. Uncover, sprinkle with rest of cheese and cook until cheese is melted and golden brown.
