Milky Rice Soup

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cup rice
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 3 cups milk

    1. Place water and rice in a saucepan and simmer over low heat until almost all water is absorbed, 10-15 minutes. Add salt, sugar and butter and stir well.
    2. Pour in milk, bring to a simmer and cook 5 minutes more.
