This simple soup is lovely served with a garnish of sour cream and some fresh parsley leaves. Also good with brown toast.


Serves: 4 

  • 2 chicken fillets, diced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 400g tinned peas
  • 4 cups water
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:35min  ›  Ready in:55min 

  1. Fry the chicken in a saucepan in the oil. Add the onion and fry until soft.
  2. Add the potatoes, peas and water. Season with salt and pepper and simmer 20 minutes.
  3. Puree until smooth. If too thick, add a little more water. Serve.
