Garlic Prawn Noodles

    If you love Asian food you have to try soy marinated garlic prawns over noodles. I like the marinade full of flavour.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 3 

    • 200g cooked prawns, peeled
    • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
    • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 4 tablespoons sesame-soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • juice of 1/2 lemon
    • 1/2 onion
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 200g Chinese noodles
    • 1 chicken stock cube

    1. Rinse the prawns and dry with paper towels. Place in a bowl and toss with garlic powder.
    2. Add the soy sauce, sesame soy sauce, sugar and lemon juice. Toss well and chill 1 hour.
    3. In a saucepan, fry the onion in the olive oil. Cook the noodles with the stock cube until done, about 5 minutes. Once onion is cooked, lower heat and add the prawns with the marinade.
    4. Before draining the noodles, add 2 tablespoons of the cooking liquid to the prawns. Drain noodles and toss with prawns.
