Chocolate Frosting for Cupcakes

    I use this delicious and creamy chocolate frosting for cupcakes but you could just as well ice a cake with it.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 12 

    • 170g butter, softened
    • 30g cocoa powder
    • 240g icing sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 tablespoons milk, or as needed

    Directions

    1. In a mixing bowl, beat butter until creamy.
    2. Combine the cocoa and icing sugar and start stirring gradually into the butter. After half the cocoa has been added, stir in the vanilla and 1 tablespoon milk.
    3. Add remaining cocoa. If it is too thick, add more milk, but you may not need to.
