Easter Salad

    Prepare this beautiful cake for your Easter table to really impress your guests. You can add decorative writing with mayonnaise in a piping bag.

    Serves: 8 

    • 2 skinless chicken legs
    • 3 potatoes, boiled
    • 2 carrots, boiled
    • 4 hard boiled eggs
    • 1/2 cup prunes
    • 1/2 cup walnuts, diced
    • 50g grated cheese
    • mayonnaise, as needed
    • grapes, to decorate

    1. Boil the chicken legs until done, let cool then finely dice the meat. Peel the boiled carrots and potatoes and grate. Peel the eggs and separate the whites and yolks. Soak the prunes in hot water 10 minutes then finely dice.
    2. Make the salad in these layers: 1) potatoes 2) diced chicken 3) prunes 4) nuts 5) diced egg whites 6) carrots 7) cheese 8) diced yolks. Place a little mayonnaise between each layer, to taste.
    3. Before serving, decorate the salad with grapes to represent Easter eggs.
