    Perfect food for an Easter party, these devilled eggs look like cracked eggs with adorable little chicks peeping out.

    Serves: 6 

    • 6 hard boiled eggs
    • 1/2 stalk celery, finely diced
    • 1/4 onion, finely diced
    • 60g mayonnaise
    • salt, to taste
    • chilli sauce, to taste
    • 3 stuffed green olives
    • 1/2 red capsicum

    1. Cut a small slice from the bottom of each egg so they will stand upright. Cut the upper third of each egg off with a zig-zag line, to look like a cracked egg. Carefully remove yolks.
    2. In a bowl, combine yolks with celery, onion, mayonnaise, salt and chilli sauce to taste.
    3. Fill the lower half of each egg with the yolks and replace the top half.
    4. Cut the olives into slices and push into the visible part of the yolk to make eyes. Cut small triangles from the red capsicum to make beaks. Chill until ready to serve.
