Easy Spring Rolls (Air Fried)

    44 minutes

This is an easy spring roll recipe that I cook in an air fryer but you could cook in the oven also. I like to serve sweet chilli sauce.

    Makes: 20 Spring Rolls

    • 50g Asian noodles
    • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
    • 200g mince
    • 1 small onion diced
    • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 1 cup mixed vegetables, fresh or frozen
    • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
    • 1 packet spring rolls
    • 2 tablespoons cold water

    Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:24min  ›  Ready in:44min

    1. Soak the noodles in hot water until they are soft then drain and cut into smaller lengths.
    2. In a wok heat the oil then add the mince, onion, garlic and mixed vegetables, cook until the mince is almost cooked through. Add the soy sauce.
    3. Remove from the heat then stir through the noddles and let stand until the juices have been absorbed.
    4. Lay out one spring roll sheet at a time then add a strip of the filling diagonally across. Fold the top point over the filling, then fold in both the side points. On the final point brush with the water before rolling the spring roll over it so it seals.
    5. Air Fryer:Preheat your air fryer to 180 degrees C.
    6. Brush each spring roll with vegetable oil.
    7. Add in layers to your air fryer and cook for 8 minutes. Repeat until all are cooked.
    8. Oven: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Brush each spring roll with vegetable oil.
    9. Lay all the spring rolls on a baking tray and add the oven. Cook for 6 minutes then turn. Return to the oven and cook for an additional 6 minutes.

    Healthy Tip

You can cook the spring rolls without brushing with oil and they are fine, but the oil helps to give the more familiar traditional taste.
