A beautiful and festive sauce, perfect over ice cream or other chilled desserts such as cheesecake.


Serves: 6 

  • 250g raspberries
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons water, or as needed

Preparation:5min  ›  Extra time:10min resting  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Stir the raspberries in a bowl with the sugar and lemon juice. Let rest 10 minutes.
  2. Blend the raspberries in a food processor. If it is too thick add water 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency. You can push this through a sieve if you want to remove the seeds but I don't find it necessary.
