Stir the raspberries in a bowl with the sugar and lemon juice. Let rest 10 minutes.
Blend the raspberries in a food processor. If it is too thick add water 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency. You can push this through a sieve if you want to remove the seeds but I don't find it necessary.
