A quick and easy tandoori chicken recipe that you can make for a simple and delicious lunch.


Serves: 3 

  • 250g boneless chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt
  • 5 teaspoons tandoori masala
  • 3cm fresh ginger, crushed
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 3 tortilla wraps
  • 1 sprig coriander leaves
  • 1 onion, sliced lengthwise

  1. Cut the chicken breast into long strips.
  2. In a bowl, combine yoghurt, tandoori masala, ginger, garlic, red chilli powder and salt. Add chicken and toss to combine.
  3. Place the mixture in a saucepan, add oil and simmer ten minutes or until the yoghurt water evaporates.
  4. Heat both sides of a tortilla in a frypan, place the chicken on it and garnish with onions and coriander leaves. Roll up and serve!
