Leftover Ham Penne with Peas

The easiest pasta you will ever make, perfect for leftover ham. You don't have to use leftover ham of course, you can buy shaved ham and use that. So good!

Serves: 4 

  • 300g penne
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups leftover ham, shredded
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until almost done. Add the frozen peas and cook 30 more seconds. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan, add the ham and cook until sizzling. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more.
  3. Add stock and mustard and bring to a simmer. Add pasta and simmer until heated through. Season with salt and pepper if needed and serve.
